Educators
Turned protesters
Scream
From the radio.
I close my eyes
And relax
Now, amidst
Vast still mountains
Within.
Words
Infiltrate
My awareness
But the inner sun
Makes it new.
Words continue
From the radio
But within,
I find solace
Like dumplings
Filled with steam.
New arguments
On the radio –
Neoliberals
Who demand conformity
Who seem
Like a group
Of channelists
Who feel
That hurting
One another
Is the same
As being good,
And for a few
Seconds,
I shiver in
Extreme fragility.
But as I
Open my eyes
I am
Baptized
And find
Divine attention
Where there are
Evaporations
Of granite
And smooth
River stones.
Now,
I feel love,
And ease
Of movement.
