WHEN I AM GONE by E W Kenyon | Poetry | PAROUSIA Magazine

(To the blessed memory of E W Kenyon, 72 years remembrance.)

My work will not be finished
When this form you’ve laid to rest;
I’ll be living in my writings,
I’ll be doing then my best.

I’ll be in the books I’ve written;
In their words I’ll live again.
I’ll be breathing out my passion
To help the sons of men

You will feel me though I’m hidden;
I’ll be speaking to your heart;
Will be driving you to study
In life to do your part.

To be living is my craving;
To help you find life’s best.
When my name they have forgotten,
You’ll be working while I rest.
