Joy to the World
Joy to the world, the Lord is born.
His birth, not strange; yet mysterious.
Formed like every other,
But in the womb of a virgin.
Leaving His glory, becoming poor for me.
Joy to the world; a saviour is born.
A prove of the wonders of His love.
The law became grace, that many be saved.
A tie of reconciliation to the father,
That none be cast away.
Joy to the world; a king is born.
His excellency foretold ;
His supremacy, angels worshipped.
His glory, the stars revealed.
His royal power, the heavens declare .
Joy to the world; He reigns for ever more.
His throne established;
In justice and righteousness.
His majesty above the earth;
Let the earth receive her king.
