God’s Upward Visualization! by Joseph S. Spence, Sr., | PAROUSIA Magazine

Sunday December 1, 2019:

Today my beloved brothers and sisters, we will take a different approach in this morning’s spiritual message. We will look at the evolutionary stages of looking out the window and behold God’s grace. This poem was written in 2007 while studying English literature, creative writing, poetry and Africology at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. It was recently revised for this morning message. We will look at specific Bible verses to strengthen our understanding.

Looking Out Today—The Window of Live (Visualization Poem)!

As I looked out the window today, I see:

People moving diligently—with a purpose of God ordering their steps.

Some smiling, rushing, walking, crawling, but all pressing onward.

As state in Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal for the

Prize of the upward call to God in Christ Jesus.”

As I looked out the window today, I see:

Blue sky, birds flying, chirping, sipping nectar from flowers.

Trains moving, planes flying, rain from clouds, a rainbow forming.

As stated in Revelation 44:3 “All around the throne was a

Rainbow with the appearance of emerald.”

Looking out the window today, I see:

Concrete highways, cars busily driving, bikes riding, skate boards zooming.

Life moving along, happily, not sadly, showing God’s inspired grace.

As stated in Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith.”

Looking out the window today, I see:

Mended fences, beautiful gardens growing, God’s inspired children smiling.

Sad people not crying, seeking a new way, a new day and new light.

As stated in Corinthians 4:16 “Therefore we do not loose heart.

Our inner soul is being renewed day by day.”

As I looked the window today, I can see:

Opportunities for growth, roses blooming, nice fragrance smelling.

New possibilities of life beaming, darkness shattering by God’s light

As stated in Ephesians 5:8 “One time you were full of darkness,

Now you have light from the Lord.”

Looking out the window today: I see a new horizon generating from the evening red sunset.

Uplifting a nation in unity, with God’s love, prosperity, and blessings.

enhancing one’s quality of life, to reach up high—like a shining, star!

As stated in Revelation 22:16 “I am the root and the descendant of

David the bright morning star.”

May the Lord always bless and keep you, may His countenance shine upon you, and His grace inspire and uplift you with His favor. Amen!
