The Windows of Life…I See God’s Light!

Looking out the window yesterday I saw
             Illnesses and plagues, sadness and failures
             Lives short lived with dreams not met
             Things wished for not coming to past
             The love from God not resonating

Looking out the window today I see
            Families’ growth and failures
            Needs, wants and wishes on the table
            Hoping tomorrow will be a new day
            People now praying unto God

Looking out the window into the future
           I see aspirations for doing greater
           New visions and possibilities for growth
           Desires and motivation for people rising
           As great creations for God’s future

Looking out the window of life I see God’s light!

His writings have appeared in national and international forums such as: journals, anthologies, newspapers and the U. S. Army. He has taught at Bryant and Stratton University, and retired from the U.S. Army as an officer. He is a Goodwill Ambassador for the state of Arkansas, USA.
