Poetry | pre-flight by Rick Davis & Jerry Swartout | PAROUSIA Magazine

Moses is hidden
beneath my
ambitious hand.

Radiance is
never as warm
as Light.

Ancient communication
once bright
now bland

introductions to Life

About Jerry Swartout:

I am a retired log home builder, having spent forty- plus years with my business, Frontier Homes, in Corvallis Montana, in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. I am blessed with a wife of thirty six years, who truly is my better half, and two sons, who, fortunately, live only an hour away from us. I do woodworking, and currently build African hand drums that we use in our drum circle, which I supervise here. Writing poems, and sharing them with other poets, like Rick Davis and others in poetry groups online, has been a recently renewed joy for me.

About Rick Davis:

He  lives in  the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago,  Illinois, USA., with his wife.  He is a graduate of Northeastern  Illinois University, and has completed graduate work at several schools.  He has worked in market research, and  in  several customer  service positions
