Poetry | GRACE by Emmanuel Faith

GRACE
This is how I spell grace;
Grace is a five letter word
Spelt by spilling blood
Of a prince brusquely slaughtered
To make slaves become sons and daughters.
Grace cringed on the cross, crucified
To turn sinners to sons, Justified.
Wiped a stained slate clean, Purified,
And gave a new spirit, Sanctified.
Grace isn’t licence to sin
But access to the recreated being
Grace is spelt in Holiness
God’s strength through our weakness
Grace isn’t just five letter word
It is showing forth The WORD to the world.
