PAROUSIA Magazine is calling for submissions for it 8th Issue to be published by April 2018 during the Easter Celebration.

The theme of this forthcoming Issue is the Sufferings of Christ and the Glory that should follow – The Glorification Issue.

1 Peter 1:11

“Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” KJV

In the ancient prophesies from the old testament, God promised a Saviour who would suffer and then be glorified. The Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ fulfilled those prophesies.

“The Glorification of Jesus is that he died, rose again and he went to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the father.
That sitting at the right hand of the father is the Glorification of Jesus.
The Glorification of Jesus is that he fulfilled the work of Redemption and today he is sitted in the place of authority.” – Pastor Jolayemi Adeniji

Narratives should explore the Crucifixion, Death, Burial, Resurrection, Ascension, Glorification, Palm Sunday, Triumphal Entry, Passover, Easter, Eternal Life, Salvation, Forgiveness Repentance, Mercy, Grace, Love, Light, Joy, Celebration, New Birth, New Creation, and New Life.

We are interested in Fiction, Creative Non Fiction, Memoir, Poetry, Review, Interview, Photography, Painting, Drawing, Graphic and other creative art works.
Submission is open to every writer regardless of Age, Experience or Location.

• Interested in Fiction, Non – Fiction and Essays not more than 3000 words. (If you have more than 3000 words which is engaging, don’t hesitate to share with us)
• Submit no more than three poems of any length.
• Accepts Interviews, Book Reviews, Music Reviews, Movie Reviews, Spoken Word Reviews and Event Reviews not more than 1000 words. Please send a query email before sending the interview.
• Send us your most engaging Visual Art.  Submit up to ten images of photography, digital art, paintings ( JPG, JPEG or PNG)

Your Subject must be in this format ‘SUBMISSION ISSUE 8 – NAME – GENRE’.
Please include a biography (tell us where you’re writing from) not more than 100 words and good quality picture of yourself in your submission.
Submissions are to be sent in Word Doc (name the word document as your name and genre e.g. John Peter – Poetry) or pasted in the body of the email.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable but immediately inform PAROUSIA Magazine if your work has been accepted somewhere else.
Your submission must be previously unpublished and original.
Submission Deadline is March 24th, 2018

By submitting your work you are giving PAROUSIA Magazine the permission to publish your work. No Submission fee. PAROUSIA Magazine can’t compensate writers now but hopeful in the coming future.
