Poetry | Walk a mile in His shoes by Sofia Kioroglou

Walk a mile in His shoes

I love Jerusalem

the air over the Old City

always saturated with prayers
that make the welkin ring.
I am a pilgrim and an observer
I take a lot of pictures and walk a lot
I walk a mile in His shoes
I walk all the way up to Calvariæ Locus
I walk alone the Via Dolorosa
