Sacrificial Love
Blood is thicker than water
Not like the love of the messiah
The innocent man that suffered
He tendered his life for the safety of the sinners.
Sacrificial Love!
The love tendered by the Lord of Lords
Sending to the wicked world his only son
But our salvation is what he needs as reward.
We could see love in his face
Though he has million pains upon pains
Swimming from his face is sorrowful rain
Yet, our righteousness is his gain.
Can you die for your brother?
What about death for your sister?
Can you even die for your mother?
And here we have someone who died for his sons and daughters.
Love isn’t sexology
Neither does it have anything to do with penury
Share love with heads in your balcony
For it has been lain on the cross of Calvary.
The Gospel
Aimlessly I wonder like a little child
The mystery in the pregnancy of our father
The humble birth of the messiah
How could the throne be born in the manger?
The more he grows, the more he glows
The globe swims in corruptible immorality
And the king of kings was sent to die for our sin
The innocent suffered, while we wine and dine in atrocity
Thousand stripes he received
Nailing to the cross was also added
Death knocked down his soul
But spirit of God flows in him
Third day, we heard the lion of the tribe of Judah has risen
Some believed, some don’t
Now he had ascended to prepare a place for us
May we succumb and accept this Jesus.
