Dear Readers,

I welcome you to the First Issue, Easter Issue of PAROUSIA Magazine: A Christian Arts and Literary Magazine. I must mention that firstly, PAROUSIA Magazine (formerly only a blog magazine) now has a new logo and secondly PAROUSIA Magazine is now being published in eBook format (PDF) for free download. However, the PDF publication won’t stop the continuous web based publication on the website. I am grateful to every contributor for sending their works.

This is the First Issue, the Easter Issue published in PDF. The issue publication will be periodic as we have three more publications this year coming up in June (The Purity Issue), September Issue and the Christmas Issue coming up in December.

PAROUSIA Magazine is here as a different kind of Arts and Literary Magazine offering a platform for writers and artists from every part of the world to use their creativity to bless lives, engage in the Kingdom activity and encourage Christians for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Established as a unique magazine, PAROUSIA Magazine is the first Christian Arts and Literary Magazine in Africa.

In this issue, you will be reading three Fiction pieces, two of which are unusual ‘RABBONI’ and ‘THE MAD MAN OF PARKLAND’ by Samuel Ogechukwu Emmanuel and Anerobi, Chimezie Lotachi respectively while Doohemba Gwa with elegance gave a good taste of an ‘Elusive God’. You will also read two Non-Fiction pieces ‘Another Evening with Iya Tola” by Tola Ijalusi and ‘RAPE’ by Temitope Awonusi that I hope would help to bring light to some topical issues.

There are poems to be enjoyed from Mike Bullock, Ogunsanya Enitan, David Amore, Sylvia Riojas Vaughn, Inalegwu Omapada Alifa, Adebote Seyifunmi, Rick Davis and Ojo Omeiza Blessing. This Issue contains an interview of Oki Kehinde Julius by Indunil Madhusankha.  To spice it all up, we have beautiful supporting pictures delivered from the lens of Boluwatife Akindele.
